How often do you go about your day-to-day duties only to find yourself buried in opened tabs on your web browser? This isn’t unheard of, especially when you are pulled from one task to the next in quick succession. All browsers give you the ability to control your open tabs by closing all other tabs or by closing all tabs to the right.
If you only have one tab open that you want to keep, you can close all other tabs easily enough. To do so, simply right-click your chosen tab, then select the option for Close Other Tabs. This should close all tabs except the chosen one, freeing up a lot of space in your browser.
Now, you may have noticed that whenever you open up a new tab, it appears to the right of the currently opened one. This can create a string of new tabs that can quickly become overwhelming when you are constantly jumping from task to task. To close all tabs to the right of any chosen tab, simply right-click your chosen tab and select Close Tabs to the Right. All tabs to the right of the chosen tab will close, once again freeing you from the chaos of having a dozen or more tabs open.
That’s all we have for today’s quick tip! We hope it helps you keep your browsing habits in check. To learn more about other tips and tricks, be sure to browse our blog and read our other tip blog articles.
